Frequently Asked Questions

Why do you use palm oil in your soaps?

Palm oil is a vouge description of the oil that can be extracted from the palm tree. There are two types, palm seed oil and palm fruit oil and here at White Cedar Naturals we us palm fruit oil in our soaps.
We choose to use palm oil in our soaps because it has a high palmitic acid content, which makes our soaps hard and long lasting.
While we are fully aware of the sustainability and harvesting issues that most commercial palm oil has, here at White Cedar Naturals only organic and sustainable palm oil is used in our products.
Just like with any other product, sourcing matters and we make the conscious choice to purchase from a local to us company that provides their RSPO Certification (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil) with each purchase, guaranteeing the sustainability and traceability of the palm oil production throughout the supply chain.

Why do I need to make an account to leave a review?

Needing an account to leave a review wasn’t something we always required.
Unfortunately we have received so many spam reviews (“reviews” on how to help our business grow) that we had to make the decision to make leaving a review only available to those with a verified account.
